Home Iberia have teamed up with VillaShare of Yorkshire
and are now able to offer share buying co-ownership of
property in Spain.
The price of property has risen
dramatically all along the Costa Blanca, the trend is
set to continue and many people are now priced out of
the Spanish market. Co-ownership and share buying
*villa share* gives people the opportunity to invest
in a part of the Spanish property market which they may
otherwise be unable to afford.
This is not a 'time share'
deal where you only buy a number of weeks per year for
holidays - this is a real investment opportunity to buy
freehold property in Spain - you are buying 'bricks and
mortar' that will increase in value over the years.
Properties can be divided into
2, 4 or 6 'shares', whereby each purchaser will own the
property for a predetermined number of weeks per year
- either 26, 13 or 8. These periods can be solely for
the owners use, or can be rented out for an additional
income. Weeks are divided evenly throughout the whole
year - spring, summer, autumn and winter so that each
owner will have a couple of weeks during each season.
As with any Spanish property
buy, initial investment will depend on the type of property
you would like to buy and where it is located. A 3 bedroomed
villa with private pool in Calpe with 4 shareholders for
example will cost around 75,000 Euros (£49,000)
each share, or a 3 bed apartment in Javea with four co-owners
would be 42,375 Euros (£28,000) per share. The same
properties inland, or on the south Costa Blanca would
be cheaper still.
